I have been in academia for over 15 years and had the privilege to work alongside outstanding researchers across multiple countries. Through a keen understanding of what students need, I have created several courses to help students develop core skills required in academic positions and any industry job. My passion for research and education guides all my actions and I endeavour to help students succeed at university and beyond.

I have spent 13 years as an academic at various Australian universities. During this time, I published over 60 articles and developed undergraduate courses in cognition, neuroscience, developmental disorders, research methods, and statistics. My passion is tutoring and mentoring students, and helping others to develop their writing and critical thinking skills. I hope to pass on these skills, tips, and tricks to the next generation of psychologists and researchers.

I have 15 years of academic, research, and mentorship experience. During this time, I taught classes on statistics, social psychology, and research methods; supervised students on honours thesis projects, edited theses, papers, and admissions essays; and coached students through each step of the research process. I aim to share my passion for psychology and research with students, helping them to achieve their goals and forge their own path within or outside of academia.

Having completed both a Master of Professional Psychology and a Master of Clinical Psychology, as well as having research experience, I have a strong understanding of university-level psychology study and assessment requirements.
I support students with assignment planning and preparation, proofreading, report writing, assessment scoring and interpretation (e.g., WISC and WAIS), and reflective assessments. I also offer support to prospective psychology students navigating the application and interview process, including preparing for interviews, understanding the selection process, and managing some of the uncertainty and stress that can come with applying for postgraduate psychology programs. My aim is to provide practical, supportive guidance that helps students build their own confidence and skills throughout their studies. 

I have taken a step back from tutoring for now to pursue data science and statistical consulting but I am available by special appointment for assignments that require specialist assistance, such as complex mediation/moderation and path analyses, and confirmatory factor analysis in AMOS.

I have been mentoring students in their research and writing for psychology for over 7 years, assisting with topics from social psychology to cognitive neuroscience.  My experience in post-graduate research and mentoring students have given me the passion to help them through the toughest parts of their journey. This culminated in the creation of a series of instructional resources on research methodology and writing to help students achieve their goals.
