Data and Visualisations for Consultants is a practical, 1-on-1 beginner session designed to help consultants and business professionals build confidence using data to support decision-making. You’ll learn how to identify useful data sources, understand basic data types, and choose visualisations that make your message clear rather than confusing. The session focuses on real consulting scenarios, using common tools such as Excel to create charts and visuals that stand up in client meetings, board packs, and internal updates. We explore what makes a visualisation effective, how to avoid common design mistakes, and how to use simple visual techniques to highlight the story behind the numbers. Delivered by PSI Connect’s experienced consultants, this session blends technical foundations with communication skills so participants can use data with clarity, purpose, and influence.
